Sailing and Cruise

Cruises n Maldives it is called a safari! No desert in sight, but with tropical island galore, stopping at some natural places, enjoying a swim off, while going ashore to visit another fishing village or to explore an uninhabited island, and always coming back on board in the evening is the Maldivian sea safari.

If you wish to discover the secrets of this Indian Ocean hideaway, choose one of the live-aboard that cruise across the atolls.

Maldives offers safari boats ranging from the locally built 4 cabin sailing boats to a 75 cabin cruise ship, the onboard facilities and services vary from rather basic to luxurious. Cruising around the aquamarine waters from atoll to atoll in a yacht or in a yacht- dhoni – especially converted Maldivian vessel can be a most exhilarating holiday experience.

In the Maldives, it is not unusual for schools of dolphins to play around your boat or to see hundreds of flying fish taking flight as the boat passes by.
During your voyage of discovery, you are at liberty to choose from a variety of activities including diving to view the magnificent coral reefs of the Maldives.

Taking a Diving Cruise is certainly the best way to experience the allure of this marvelous archipelago, since it allows one to explore the most unspoiled seabeds, which cannot be reached from the tourist villages.  Of course, the facilities available will depend on the boat of your choice. Aboard the yacht, the crews are highly professional.
Dining under a clear star- studded night sky and the soft rhythm of gentle waves on the hull of the boat is indeed an experience in itself. An excursion to a fishing village or an uninhabited island will turn this holiday cruise into a voyage of discovery.
