Halaveli Holiday Village.

Halaveli is a particularly fine example of the beauty that islands of Maldives have been so richly endowed with. The beaches are dazzling white, the sand soft and caressing to the touch. The island is covered with thick lush tropical vegetation. An unspoilt aquamarine lagoon, shimmering in the sun, encircles the beach.

Breathtaking beauty, though, is not uncommon in the Maldives. What gives Halaveli its rare appeal is the excellent atmosphere - easy-going, relaxed and friendly. You feel at ease the moment you arrive on Halaveli. The management and staff, who regard Halaveli their home away from home, cannot be more welcoming hosts, and you cannot help but feel the good vibes from the moment you are welcomed to the island. You know right then that you have made the right choice, and before long you would be making a mental note to return soon - like so many others have done before you.

Halaveli Beach.

The unmatched serenity that can be enjoyed in Halaveli and the ambience that prevails at all times also form the perfect holiday for honeymooners.

If you are energetic, we have a variety of activities for you, from swimming, snorkelling and diving in the ocean, to table-tennis, catamaran sailing, windsurfing, parasailing, darts and other activities which can be enjoyed to your heart’s content.
However, Halaveli is ideal for the family holiday as well, with its tranquil atmosphere, a wonderful beach for sun tanning and games on the beach, a shallow lagoon ideal for swimming or snorkelling, and a doctor on call on the island itself. Our island hopping excursions will also prove to be exciting, with trips to both inhabited and uninhabited islands, and barbecue lunches on the beach.

Maldivian law also prohibits gathering coral - dead or alive. This is for the conservation of the beautiful yet fragile environment of the Maldives and your co-operation is highly appreciated.

Safety deposit boxes - Safety deposit boxes are available at the reception for you to store any valuables that you may have brought with you.

The water sports centre in Halaveli offers you the opportunity to enjoy the Maldivian waters to your heart’s content. If you want to sail the waters and feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your face as you cut across the azure blue sea, go for a ride on one of our catamarans.

Snorkelling in Halaveli is great fun. There are daily snorkelling expeditions to excellent reefs in the island’s vicinity. Local motorised boats leave from the island every morning and anchor at selected reefs for an hour or more. The beauty of Maldivian reefs is famous across the world for the profusion of colour and for the rich, exotic marine life. A snorkelling expedition provides you with the opportunity to experience this breathtaking beauty first-hand and to have close encounters with the exotic creatures that live among the corals.
In fact, on the western side of the island the outer reef is close enough that it is easy to snorkel to it right from the shore. This makes for a wonderful little glimpse into the underwater scenery on the reef as well as a look at the different kinds of marine life found in the area between the inner reef and the outer one.

Windsurfing is another excellent option for enjoying life on Halaveli. Even if you have never windsurfed before you will find the shallow lagoon an ideal arena to learn this exhilarating sport. If you are already an enthusiast, you will have some of the best rides of your life here.
All equipment, well maintained by the staff, are available for rent whenever you feel like taking part in any of the sports.

On land, the choice is limited to a game of table tennis, table-football or darts. But then there is too much going on in the island anyway for you to feel the need to go looking for other diversions.
