Ellaidhoo is a small coral island with a total land area of 55,625 square meters. The island is 300 meters long and 280 meters wide, and is covered by thick tropical vegetation. The total built up area of the island is only 7,060 square meters (12.7% of the total land area). The magnificent house reef just 20 meters away from the beach surrounding the island, is believed to be one of the best dive resort in the Maldives.
One can dive the house reef unaccompanied at any time and enjoy its well deserved reputation as one of the best. If you are lucky, you may also see manta and eagle rays passing by. To the south of the island there is a vertical drop-off up to 25 meters with caves at three different levels starting from 6 meters.

Ellaidhoo is located on the north-eastern fringes of North Ari Atoll, which has a concentration of first class dive sites rarely matched in other parts of the tourist atolls. These sites include some of the protected marine areas such as Orimas Thila renowned for its abundance marine fauna, Mayaa Thila famous as the White Tip Reef shark capital and Fish Head known as the Grey Sharks home. If you are lucky, you may also see manta and eagle rays passing by.
The 78 modern luxury Deluxe rooms in the island are all built along the beach facing the magnificent house reef.
The spa in Ellaidhoo has a sauna, steam bath and as well as indoor and open air Jacuzzi. Also available are a range of soothing Asia massage treatments with rejuvenating oils and herbs.
